For the past decade, the home care health industry has struggled finding caregivers with a true heart for their work. Because of this, those in need of care have suffered greatly. Seniors, the intellectually disabled, the autistic, and all those with special needs have been subject to a level of care that is unacceptable.
The home care industry – specifically in Montgomery County, Delaware County, Chester County, Bucks County and Philadelphia – was in need of caregivers who felt a calling for making a difference in their work. With this in mind, we went out in search of the right people who would form our organization.
Samaritans-At-Last was started in 2007 by Davis Menya to make home care giving a fun, enjoyable, and fulfilling vocation. Our senior concierge services and elder care programs provide support services to older adults with daily living needs who wish to live independently in their own home. Our programs and services are tailored to meet the needs of every individual. Independence, skill building, dignity, and improved quality of life is what you can expect to receive at Samaritans-At-Last. We offer not only our physical presence, but also our hearts.
